I’ve never done it, but I’ve seen tons of books at Borders and Amazon.com which should tell you everything you need to know.

If you really want to know, you should not be asking us because this is something you need to decide on your own and get info from a real source, not the Internet.

To be a realtor, you would need to get your real estate license. There should be a list of courses you can take in the Yellow Pages under Real Estate. You purchase the home and then relist it. Pretty simple. You don’t need to be a realtor to do this or even have one to list and sell the home. Not a good idea right now though because the housing market is declining in record numbers.

My guess is you wait until real estate market goes back in an UPWARD trend for one thing. And while I don’t believe everything I see on TV, the shows that are on flipping, show one big truth – the “flippers” are almost always WAY OFF track as to how long it will take, how much money, what to bother remodeling etc…

Everyone of my friends & family who have or are in real estate say DONT GET INTO THE FIELD RIGHT NOW.

Study anything for a long time before you jump into it.

Read books on the subject at the local Barnes and Nobel. Also, check out this website:.

Don’t listen to anyone who says it can’t be done in this market. In fact, if you find a good deal in San Diego and tie up the property, I’ll buy it from you.
